Bristol Motor Speedway Tickets

Bristol Motor Speedway, located in (and named for) Bristol, Tennessee, was originally built in 1960 and, then known as Bristol International Raceway, held its first NASCAR race in July of '61. The track is made of all concrete and is built similar to Dover's NASCAR track, but is somewhat shorter.
The length of the speedway is just over half a mile; it features four turns. Because the track is so short, driver speeds tend to be considerably lower than on other stockcar tracks. Currently the track's lap record is held by Penske Racing's Ryan Newman who ran a 0:14.908 lap in 2003.
