Nashville Superspeedway Tickets
The Nashville Superspeedway is actually located about 30 miles east of Nashville, in Gladeville. This concrete D-shaped oval track is 1.3 miles long and owned by Dover Motor Sports. Built in 2001, the speedway hosts four major events, three of them NASCAR related. The NASCAR races are with the Nationwide Series (two of them), and the Craftsman Truck Series. The other major event is an Indy Racing League event. There is seating in the stands for about 50,000 spectators, and with portable seating, up to 150,000 are able to watch the various races. One distinctive of the Nashville Superspeedway is that all winners are given special Gibson Les Paul guitars rather than traditional trophies.
